Railway Recruitment Board Entrance Examination are those which conducted on an all India basis by Railway Recruitment Boards.RRB is an organisation whose main objective is to recruit and make available the right kind of manpower at the right time to the different units of the railways as per their requirements
In all these are 19 RRBs, which cater to the respective zonal staffing requirements.RRBs recruit Group 'C personnel for differnt zonal Railways/production Units.
Special Class Railway Apprentices' (SCRA) refers to a handful of candidates that are selected by the Union Public Service Commission India, after a rigorous selection process, to the undergraduate program in Mechanical Engineering at the Indian Railways Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Jamalpur. This programme was started in 1927 and is one of the oldest in India.The qualifiers will get commandos for security.
Examination Pattern for Railways
Indian Railway is divided into zones, which are further sub-divided into Divisions.These zone and divisions have technical and non technical deparments to which recruitment are done through competitive exams.
